FAQ

Questions, answered honestly.

Some policies are still being finalized. We'll update these answers as our program develops.

Who can apply?

Individuals whose appearance has been affected by cancer, medical treatments, or qualifying medical conditions. Financial hardship is a primary consideration, but every application is reviewed with compassion on a case-by-case basis, taking into account financial challenges, medical circumstances, and available program resources.

What services are offered?

Eyebrow restoration, scalp micropigmentation, and areola restoration, performed by vetted professionals.

Is assistance free?

Approved services are funded by the foundation at no cost to approved recipients. Travel or unrelated costs may not be covered; details will be confirmed in our program policies.

Is the program available nationwide?

We intend to serve eligible individuals throughout the United States. Availability in a given area will depend on our provider network.

How are applications evaluated?

Applications will be reviewed consistently against published criteria by trained reviewers. Funding and approval are not guaranteed.

What happens after approval?

We'll connect you with a provider for an assessment. The provider determines whether the service is safe and suitable for you, and the foundation authorizes payment directly.

How are personal records protected?

We collect only what's necessary, restrict access to authorized staff, and will not open applications until our security and privacy safeguards have been reviewed.

Can applicants choose their provider?

Our policy is still being finalized. Where possible, we'll consider your preferences among approved providers in your area.

How can professionals participate?

Qualified permanent makeup, paramedical tattoo, and scalp micropigmentation professionals can express interest on our Become a Provider page.
